IMAD ROYAL - BAD 4 U (SWEATER BEATS REMIX)

Music, RemixEricComment

I supremely loved Imad Royal's endearing original "Bad 4 U" check out our review here. When I saw another BB stand out Sweater Beats had taken to rework the original I figured it was going to be bomb. No surprises here Sweater Beats has updated the original for dance floors and added a fun spin of his own. The drop is lead by an eclectic vocal chop that bends and hops putting a smirk across your face. You can purchase this remix on iTunes here.

MIIKE SNOW - MY TRIGGER (IMAD ROYAL REMIX)

Music, RemixErin MaherComment

Imad Royal is part of this new breed of electronic music makers who write, sing and produce all their own tracks. The concept is far from new, however we see these emerging artist starting to make an impact as the next wave of young creative game changers. Imad Royal put his soulful future beats flavor to "My Trigger" by Miike Snow - with funky future grooves perfect for the dance floor. Listen and love!

SWEATER BEATS - BETTER FT. NICOLE MILLAR & IMAD ROYAL

Music, Original MixEricComment

One of our BB faves Sweater Beats just dropped his first original track in almost 2 years, and oh what a good one at that! Teaming up with Sydney's Nicole Millar, and growing industry aficionado Imad Royal, the three have constructed an electronic pop crossover that delights and enthralls. The hip hop percussion locks the beat down as strums of guitar, pulsing bass and flaring synths bob and weave our way through an incredibly infectious chorus proclaiming "I'll make you better." This tune is endearing, fun and hard hitting - pretty much everything you want in a record! Sweater Beats also just announced a slew of new dates for the "For The Cold" fall tour available on his website www.sweaterbeats.com and you can purchase this tune from Big Beat here

IMAD ROYAL - BAD 4 U

Music, Original MixMax mayeriComment

God bless Imad Royal for changing the pop music game one track at time. His newest single titled "Bad 4 U" is ready for radio play or your next pool party, and should be on repeat all summer. The production is perfection featuring an infectious piano melody, mixed with some sexy saxophone, and catchy vocals. It's a perfect crossover from his side project SoySauceand can't wait for gems like this on his upcoming release on Atlantic Records.

Summer is in full swing - which for some means chill evenings and lazy weekends relaxing by the pool. And for others (like me and my fam) it's time to party! With festival season currently peaking, not a weekend goes by that we're not seeing our socials blown up with FOMO over some festival we're not at this year! It's a brilliant time to be alive! Our next guest mix is all about that party, and our homies Bronze Whale have crushed this next installment of Buzzzmix Vol. 28. IMAD ROYAL - VAGABOND

Music, Original MixEricComment

Ok I'm gonna keep the heat streak going right here. This is the first time we've done a post about this well traveled artist and wow what a story! A college dropout, metal drummer and refugee for a summer, Imad Royal has seen some days. Eventually ending up in LA from Lebanon fleeing the numerous struggles going on over there, Imad has made short work of the music game with fantastic original productions "Down For Whatever," "Passenger" and now "Vagabond." "Vagabond" starts low key, but the vocals arrive quickly setting the tone for the rest of the tune. Equal parts R&B, electronic and pop this track has some legitimately broad appeal. The track is somewhat moody, but yet darkly majestic with such a great hook with the line of the record's title 'vagabond.' Excited to see the tremendous potential in this up-and-coming talent.
